Questions
Before you join
- Is it really free?
- Yes. A reader’s account costs nothing.
- Will I get every book I ask for?
- Not always. Writers choose their readers, and a request puts you on that book’s waitlist. Joining an author’s list means you hear first when they have something new.
- What are Beta Reads and ARC Reads?
- A Beta Read is a nearly finished draft a writer shares to find out what works. An ARC Read is the finished book, read ahead of its release, usually with a date to finish by.
- What do I read on?
- A phone, a tablet or a computer, right in the browser. We keep your place.
- Who sees my notes?
- Your highlights, comments and reactions go to the writer of that book.
